Tigh nan Shian was built from the ruins of a crofter’s cottage in the 1970’s and was completely refurbished in 2004. It stands on a hill (from which its Gaelic name derives - “Hill of the Fairies”) in enclosed garden grounds of approximately two-thirds of an acre. There is a sitting area as well as wild garden for children (and adults!) to explore.

There is full electric heating (storage or panel) in every room. There are three bedrooms (double room [king-size bed], twin room, single room with a “pull out” [twin or double]). Linen is provided.
